With all the information there is available about how what we put into our mouths can affect our health, did you ever wonder about our loving companions?Yes, I mean our pets - - dogs and cats in particular.
My beloved, Koma, died on April 6, 2008 due to liver problems. Yes, she was 12 years old which we are led to believe is a 'ripe old age' for a medium sized dog.
I firmly believe that if I knew then, back from day one of getting her, what I know now, I could have increased her lifespan and her health span.
Koma had a pretty good life with good health until the last approximately 2-3 months of her life. I believe that that was partly due to the fact that we were using "people food" for many of the meals.
Are you aware that commercial dog food is loaded with poisons?
